Clay Apple Baker for Delicious Hot Apples

Posted by admin | Cooking, Food & Wine | Friday 20 November 2009 10:30 am

Apples have always been one of my favorite fruits. While you can get good apples all year long, nothing compares to the delicious apples you can get locally during the fall season, fresh from the tree. The apples are extra crispy, juicy and flavorful and I often eat one or two a day. I remember when I was younger we always went apple picking to some of the local apple orchards. It was a bit of a road trip but we always had a great time and made a special day of it. We also made caramel and candied apples as a special treat too. Another great treat is hot cinnamon apples, which would turn out really wonderful in this Romertopf Clay Apple Baker. (more…)

In case you didn’t know, Gap, Old Navy, and Banana Republic are all owned by the same parent company. And in case you also haven’t noticed, their clothes tend to be very similar in their styling. Three Musketeers or Aux Mousquetaires Tapestry Wall Decor

Boy, was I right. Aux Mousquetaires Tapestry is what I was hoping for, and a lot more. The detail and care given to the scene is without rival. The colors are rich and warm and can brighten my home in unimaginable ways. It’s too easy to lose yourself in the scene, because it feels like you could be standing right there in the thick of it. I absolutely love the tapestry rod it’s hung on, with the fleur de lis ends. Everything about this piece says top notch craftsmanship. Anyone who’s picky about quality will want to pick this up. I’ve shown it to several friends already, who’ve all gushed about the piece. It certainly catches the eye and gets a conversation started. This is easily one of the best purchases I’ve made this year. (more…)

Outdoor Storage Choices

Posted by admin | Home Decor | Tuesday 3 November 2009 5:01 pm

One thing I know to be certain is that you can never have enough storage space! Just think about it, have you ever heard of anyone saying they have just too much storage space! Of course not and there are reasons for that; we like stuff. Because we like this stuff we want great secure and safe places to store it and that is why I like vinyl outdoor storage choices. Vinyl is clean, virtually maintenance free and lasts a long time. It is also not as expensive as wood and is easy to put together with a kit and that’s why I have one in my backyard. (more…)
